The school bell has rung, class is now in session.
I was reading the book of Ruth and realized that her life was so full of purpose. She was a woman from the Kingdom of Moab, who was married to an Israelite named Mahlon. Mahlon, his brother and their father died, leaving Ruth with her mother-in-law Naomi.
Ruth, along with her sister-in-law had the opportunity to go back to the city of their birth. Their mother-in-law, Naomi encouraged them to go back, since they were young and could remarry. One of them left, but Ruth stayed and together they sojourned back to Bethlehem. Due to Ruth’s kindness, strong work ethic, and willingness to stay focused on her assignment at hand, she ended up finding her soul mate and fulfilling divine purpose.
What about you? Are you operating in harmony with your soul right now? Is the thing you are operating in, essential to the assignment that God has placed in you to do?
The title of this post will probably be two of the most important questions you will be asked today because they are loaded, and will require that you go into your prayer room and seek the Lord for the answers.
If you have been feeling stagnant in your life, it could be because you have been distracted by an unlawful attraction. Distractions can come in many shapes, forms and sizes. Sometimes it can be in the form of a person, while other times it could simply be something inanimate, like a cell phone.
Stop wasting the most precious currency we have in this moment. Time is not something we can get back, and the harvest reaped next year, will be based on what we spend our time doing today.
It is completely natural to waste a little time here and there, but if you find that the majority of your time is spent on unfruitful task, it is time to make a change. It is Jesus Christ’s will that all be saved, so that you can be led to the ultimate purpose He has for your life.
Who and What He has for you will be in harmony with your soul and essential to the assignment He has placed in your life. Anything outside of this, will cause a lack of peace, and confusion. 1 Corinthians 14:33 states, “For God is not the author of confusion but of peace. ” Evaluate how you are feeling right now. Do you feel a lack of peace? Do you feel constantly confused or disheveled? If you do, you do not have to continue on this path, start dedicating time daily to commune with the Lord if you want to see a serious transformation. He is waiting, and has a lot to reveal to you. Think about it, you have probably tried everything and nothing has been working, why not try Him?
